Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract
opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to
provide onsite support within a public school setting in Front
Royal, VA. Serving primarily an elementary caseload with some high
school students, this role offers a chance to apply specialized
skills in a dynamic educational environment. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy services to students with diverse
communication needs. Manage a caseload that is predominantly
elementary-aged with approximately 10 high school students.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to
develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy plans
accordingly. Maintain compliance with state licensure and school
district policies. Qualifications and Experience: Valid Virginia
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license. Experience working in
school settings preferred. Strong communication, organizational,
and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with children
and adolescents across a range of speech and language disorders.
Position Details: Location: Front Royal, VA Setting: Elementary and
High School within a public school district. Duration: Leave
coverage contract starting January 5, 2026, through April 2026.
Schedule: 7.5 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break,
totaling 35 hours per week. This contract role provides direct
impact on student success in an educational environment. Qualified
