Job Description Job Description Job Title: Machinist Job Description As a Machinist, you will be responsible for producing new components from blueprints, personal expertise, and verbal instructions. You will work with CNC mills and CNC lathes, and your role will require you to proficiently read and analyze blueprints. Your mechanical skills will be essential for maintaining and repairing machining equipment, and you will inspect your work using inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges. Welding experience is preferred but not required. The ability to lift up to 35 lbs routinely and occasional travel may be required. Responsibilities Produce new components from blueprints, personal expertise, and verbal instructions. Operate CNC mills and CNC lathes. Read and analyze blueprints proficiently. Maintain and repair machining equipment. Inspect work using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges. Perform welding tasks if experienced. Lift up to 35 lbs routinely. Travel as required. Essential Skills Proficiency in operating CNC mills and CNC lathes. Blueprint reading and analysis. Mechanical skills for maintenance and repair of machining equipment. Experience in using inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with welding is preferred but not required. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
