Job Title: Interventional Radiology Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Must have state license Certifications: Required certifications include ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: Must have clinical experience in Interventional Radiology Description: Looking for an experienced Interventional Radiology Tech to join our team. The position requires skills in various procedures including chest tube placement and gastrostomy tube placement. Candidates should be proficient in paracentesis, stent placement, and thoracentesis. Experience with angioplasty and upper and lower extremity angiography is essential. Candidates must also be skilled in central venous access, including non-tunneled and PICC lines. Knowledge of sterile technique and accurate monitoring is required. The tech will be responsible for equipment setup and EKG lead placement. Prep access sites and maintain a sterile field throughout procedures. Experience with charting systems is a plus. This position does not require weekend or on-call shifts. Scrubs will be provided. Only candidates who meet the minimum requirements will be considered. References from prior supervisors are required during the selection process.
