Job Description HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing job in York, Pennsylvania. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 08/04/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology Facility: WellSpan York Hospital Location: 1001 S George St, York, PA 17403 Start Date: 08/18/2025 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Contract Type: Travel Assignment Unit: Special Procedures – Imaging Nursing (IR) Shift: Day – 5x8s (07:30 AM – 04:00 PM) Monday through Friday. No call or weekends required. Job Summary: This Interventional Radiology RN will support a high-acuity unit focused on minimally invasive, image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The nurse will rotate through CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, IR, and Ultrasound, providing comprehensive care including: - Pre-, intra-, and post-procedure patient care - Administration of moderate sedation - Hemodynamic and procedural monitoring - Coordination with interdisciplinary teams The RN must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing complex cases involving both adult and pediatric populations. Procedures & Responsibilities Include: - Vascular Access: Central lines, PICC, ports - Interventional Procedures: - Angioplasty, embolizations, TIPS, stents - Liver biopsies, nephrostomy, chest tube placement - Paracentesis, thoracentesis, vertebroplasty - Medications: - Antiarrhythmics, vasopressors, thrombolytics - Procedural sedation & emergency medications - Monitoring & Safety: - Dysrhythmia interpretation - Radiation/laser safety, infection prevention - Sheath removal, topical hemostasis Minimum Requirements: - Experience: - 2 years in Interventional Radiology or Special Procedures - 1 year of travel nursing preferred - Certifications: - BLS & ACLS (AHA/ARC only) - PALS preferred - Charting: EPIC (Required) - License: Active PA or compact state license (must be in hand) - Patient Ratio: 1:1 - Travel Experience: Required - Age Groups Cared For: Neonate through geriatric - Must be comfortable with COVID-positive patient care - Tobacco- and fragrance-free facility Pay package can be customized based on your specific needs and preferences.
