Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Fairfax, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,753 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year in PCU and Telemetry License: RN License required Certifications: BLS (must be AHA), ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: EPIC experience is required. Types of patients include CHF, Stroke, Sepsis, cardiac dysrhythmias, pneumonia, ruling out cardiac issues, stroke, pain management, and observation status patients. Description: Flexible hours are available. Schedule preferences can be accommodated. Weekend requirement is every other weekend. First to float if census decreases to medical, surgical, or observation units. The unit has a ratio of 1:4 on days and nights, with 5 Techs, 1 Resource RN, and 1 Charge RN. Floor orientation consists of 3 days. Scrub attire includes navy blue pants and solid navy blue or white tops. Mixing and matching is permitted, and long sleeve shirts worn under scrubs must be navy or white. Epic access is needed. 1 major holiday and 1 minor holiday are expected during the duration.
