Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Fairfax, Virginia, 22033! Job
Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive
Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12
hours (7 AM - 7 PM) Experience: Minimum 1 year of PCU and Telemetry
experience License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS (must be
AHA), ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: EPIC experience required Flexible
hours with the ability to accommodate schedule preferences 1 year
of PCU experience and Telemetry experience Description: The
position requires experience in caring for patients with CHF,
Stroke, Sepsis, cardiac dysrhythmias, pneumonia, and those in
observation status. Candidates will float to Medical, Surgical, and
Observation Units if census requires. The unit has a total of 36
telemetry beds. Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:4 on days and 1:4 on
nights. There are 5 Technicians, a Resource Nurse, and a Charge
Nurse on staff. The position requires every other weekend
commitment. Scrubs should be navy blue pants and solid navy blue or
solid white tops. Long-sleeve shirts worn under scrubs must also be
navy or white. Caring for patients on this unit involves a variety
of complex medical needs and pain management. Candidates must
demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and
adapt to changing patient needs. This position supports
