Job Description:
MedStar Georgetown University Hospital is seeking a dedicated
and skilled Physical Therapist to join our inpatient team, focusing
on adult care. As part of MedStar Health, a leading not-for-profit
healthcare organization, this role entails providing top-tier
rehabilitative care in a dynamic hospital environment aimed at
aiding patients in their recovery and enhancing their overall
quality of life. This role requires a compassionate approach to
patient care, coupled with a commitment to implementing

each patient. Working within an interdisciplinary team, the

Evaluate patient conditions and develop appropriate physical
rehabilitation plans Implement patient-focused treatment plans
involving exercises, manipulations, and other techniques
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive
care Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and
ongoing management strategies Maintain patient records and document
treatment progress Participate in professional development and stay
current with the latest physical therapy techniques and
technologies Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in physical therapy techniques and assessment tools
Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team Experience
with electronic health records Strong organizational and
problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Physical Therapist license in
the state of practice CPR and BLS certification Membership in the
American Physical Therapy Association preferred
