Job Description:
Encompass Health Mechanicsburg is committed to delivering

compassionate, patient-focused nursing graduates to join our
residency program. This program is designed for success through
structured mentorships, hands-on clinical experiences, and multiple
learning platforms that will prepare you to thrive in a dynamic
healthcare environment. Our residents play a pivotal role in our
care teams by delivering high-quality care and participating in our
continuous strive for recovery and healing. Provide direct and
individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of
scientific nursing principles. Participate in patient assessments,
creation and management of care plans, and ongoing patient
follow-up. Deliver exceptional patient care focusing on safety,
privacy, and compassion at all times. Engage in learning
opportunities within your unit and through our institutional
resources, refining both clinical and professional skills.
Collaborate with a diverse healthcare team to enhance patient
outcomes. Document patient care services by charting in patient and
department records according to accepted regulatory, corporate, and
professional guidelines. Strong clinical skills with attention to
detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to
adapt and respond to diverse challenging situations Proficiency in
using healthcare technology and Electronic Health Records (EHR)
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid RN
license from the state of Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain
Current BLS certification or ability to attain certification within
3 months of hire
