Description: The RN will work on a telemetry unit that consists of
private and semi-private rooms. Both floors currently maintain a
similar acuity level. The RN will provide care for patients with
various cardiac conditions. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5 for
both day and night shifts. Required certifications include BLS and
ACLS. The RN may be assigned to charge nurse duties as needed.
Floating between units is rare but may occur during high census
periods. Nurses will perform telemetry monitoring and documentation
as required. The unit is equipped with advanced cardiac monitoring
systems. Drugs administered include Cardizem, Amiodarone,
Labetalol, and others as per protocol. Respiratory therapy services
are provided 24/7. Pharmacy services are accessible in-house around
the clock. A robust nursing support team, including nurse aides,
will assist when fully staffed. The RN must comply with uniform
dress code policies. The schedule will be managed through a
centralized system, with requests submitted in advance. Nursing
staff will encounter a variety of patient diagnoses, including
elevated troponin levels and post-cardiac procedures. This role
