Job Summary We are looking for a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our growing team! The right candidate has a can-do attitude, a friendly demeanor, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to provide medical support to our clients in their homes. Medicare Insurance Admissions: $120 Evals/ recers/resump: $100 Routine/Discharge Visits: $90 Managed care Insurance Admission: $100 Evals/recert/resump: $85 Routine/Discharge visit: $75 Responsibilities - Visit patients in their homes for one-on-one visits - Complete initial and ongoing assessments to identify the physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs of home health patients - Assess patients' conditions and chart observations, and perform evaluation tasks including vital signs and medication review - Administer medication as prescribed by the patient's physician - Educate patients and their families on proper home health care strategies and procedures, and make recommendations for devices or tools that might improve the patient's quality of life - Provide effective communication to patients/clients, their family members, team members, and other health care professionals Qualifications - Graduate of an accredited Occupational therapy Program - Current state license as a Occupational Therpist - Proof of current CPR certification - Compassionate, friendly demeanor - Excellent communication skills - Current driver's license and reliable transportation - Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally About Us Absolute Healthcare Resources is a provider of home health care services and we serve the cities and counties within and surrounding Fairfax, Virginia.
