Part-Time Pediatric Hospitalist or Emergency Pediatrician

We are seeking a part-time acute care pediatrician to join our team at MedStar Montgomery Medical Center in Olney, Maryland.

This role is well suited to a pediatrician who values the breadth of acute pediatrics and wants to keep that range of practice active.

Our pediatricians provide care in the pediatric emergency department, manage pediatric admissions, and attend deliveries, including newborn stabilization when neonatology is not available.

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Pediatrics
• Maryland license or eligibility for licensure
• Recent pediatric emergency or hospitalist experience preferred
• Proficiency in neonatal and pediatric resuscitation consistent with current NRP and PALS guidelines
• Comfort with acute pediatric care, inpatient management, deliveries and newborn stabilization
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative working style
