our team! Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Contracts
Administrator with experience in U.S. Government contracting to
support contract management and compliance activities throughout
the contract lifecycle. Working closely with senior contract
professionals, program teams, and business development, the
Contracts Administrator will assist in contract preparation,
documentation, reporting, and coordination efforts. This role
ensures compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR),
Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and
other federal requirements while helping maintain B&A’s
contractual and financial integrity. Responsibilities: Support
contract administration activities across all phases, including
pre-award, award, modifications, execution, and closeout. Prepare,
organize, and maintain accurate contractual documentation, such as
modifications, correspondence, deliverable trackers, and compliance
records. Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, subcontracts,
NDAs, and teaming agreements under the guidance of senior contracts
staff. Review solicitations, RFPs, and SOWs to identify key terms,
requirements, and potential risks. Support proposal development by
assisting with review of terms and conditions, gathering
cost/pricing inputs, and assembling proposal packages. Coordinate
with Government Contracting Officers (COs), CORs, and prime or
subcontractor partners as needed. Help ensure compliance with FAR,
DFARS, agency supplements, ITAR, and relevant statutes. Provide
administrative and contractual support to program management,
procurement, finance, and business development teams. Monitor
contract deliverables, deadlines, funding levels, and reporting
requirements to ensure accurate and timely execution. Assist in
identifying and tracking potential contractual risks or issues,
escalating as appropriate. Support audits, data calls, and
compliance reviews conducted by federal agencies or internal
stakeholders. Help prepare and deliver internal training materials
related to contract procedures and compliance best practices.
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business
administration, Government Contracting, Legal Studies, or a related
field. 1–3 years of experience in federal contract administration
or a related role (experience with DoD, DHS, or federal agencies is
a plus). Required Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and
priorities with strong attention to detail. Excellent
organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of FAR, DFARS, and foundational government
contracting principles. Ability to work independently while
collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and relevant business or
contract management systems. Desired Skills: NCMA certification
(e.g., CAPA, CFCM, CCCM) or interest in pursuing certification.
Familiarity with cost-reimbursable, fixed-price, T&M, and IDIQ
contract types. Exposure to DCAA/DCMA auditing processes and
general compliance requirements. Experience supporting subcontract
