This position involves the precise assembly, installation, and arrangement of various types of office furniture, including desks, chairs, cubicles, and storage units, to meet client specifications and workplace standards. The installer collaborates closely with project managers and clients to understand layout plans and deliver installations that enhance workspace efficiency and comfort. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are paramount to prevent damage to furniture and ensure a secure setup. Ultimately, the role contributes to creating productive and professional office spaces that support organizational operations and employee well-being. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in furniture assembly or installation, preferably in an office or commercial setting. Ability to read and understand technical instructions, blueprints, and layout diagrams. Physical capability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor for extended periods. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to various job sites. Preferred Qualifications: Certification or training in furniture installation or carpentry. Experience with a variety of hand and power tools used in furniture assembly. Familiarity with workplace safety standards and OSHA regulations. Strong problem-solving skills to adapt to on-site challenges. Excellent communication skills for effective client and team interactions. Responsibilities: Read and interpret installation instructions, blueprints, and layout plans to accurately assemble and install office furniture. Transport furniture components safely to installation sites and handle materials with care to avoid damage. Assemble desks, chairs, partitions, filing cabinets, and other office furniture using hand and power tools. Coordinate with clients and project managers to confirm installation requirements and address any on-site adjustments. Ensure all installed furniture is stable, secure, and meets quality and safety standards before project completion. Maintain a clean and organized work area during and after installations to promote safety and efficiency. Report any issues or discrepancies encountered during installation to supervisors promptly. Skills: The required skills enable the installer to efficiently interpret installation guides and blueprints, ensuring accurate assembly and placement of office furniture. Physical strength and dexterity are essential for handling and maneuvering heavy components safely throughout the workday. Proficiency with hand and power tools allows for precise and timely construction of furniture pieces.
